                                   Introduction

This article will not provide you with a list telling you what to feed your Chihuahua or

I know that everyone wants to do the very best by their Chihuahua so I will
only present you with:

1.  Basic facts about nutrition. (See Menu Below)

2.  Teach you how you can evaluate your feed to determine if you are giving

Most of the Chihuahua's digestion takes place in the stomach. The foods the
Chihuahua has eaten will stay in the dog’s digestive system for 4-8 hours
after ingestion.
NOTE:
Do not assume that human food is always safe for your Chihuahua. When it
comes to Chocolate, Onions, Garlic and Macadamia Nuts, such foods should not be
given at all due to possible toxic reactions that can cause the death of your
Chihuahua.

Here is a good list of poison foods and plants.
